Primary responsibilities would be to enter projects into the MS Excel project tracker from Optix. As the task moves through the permitting cycle, the candidate would be re-assigning the task in Optix to the next ROW agent until all tasks are complete and can be closed. Monitoring the flow of the project is crucial to completion. Concurrently, they would be monitoring the permit process in the tracker for the same reason.
Next would be as backup to 2 primary people. One, who monitors the barricades and follows a similar process in an Excel spreadsheet. The other is the CADD drafter. Since the primary responsibilities would be more focused on issuing and receiving work from a 3rd party contractor, CADD knowledge isn’t necessary, but would make it much easier on the candidate.
Ideally, the candidate would have advanced CADD skills and be able to contribute drafting/redlining as needed. Civil Engineering CADD 13.0 or better, Knowledge of civil drawings, Knowledge of RTC codes. This obviously specializes the skill-set and would cost notably more.
Position will be focused primarily around data entry; however, knowledge of telecommunications construction methods and procedures for both aerial and underground are a plus.
